Searching for Super 8!
The filmmakers are on the hunt for film footage from South Africa from the mid 60s to mid 70s. For a limited period they are offering a free transfer of those old film reels in your attic to digital video. We are especially interested in those who have footage that may include the major cities, townships, beaches, transport or economic infrastructure of South Africa (even if it’s only in the background or the odd shot). All footage will be considered from family home movies through to amateur film enthusiasts. Transfer is free and any footage be used by the production would be subject to the consent of the owner and a standard archive fee.
